KINGS SQUARE RENEWAL
28th July 2017
The two palm trees in Newman Court (in front of the old Myer building) were relocated within Kings Square on Friday 28 July.
The relocation will provide protection to the trees during the current gas and water pipeline works and during the upcoming Kings Square Renewal project. The relocation work is expected to take one day to complete (weather dependent).
Access will still be available to the administration building, town hall, library, visitor centre, One Stop Shop and Jean Hobson playground.
The Kings Square public toilets will be unavailable while works are taking place. The nearest alternative public toilets are available outside the Queensgate building (William Street side).
Two ACROD bays will also be available near the town hall in front of the administration building off William Street.
