After the successful relocation of five London Plane trees in May, the City of Fremantle will be relocating an additional three trees in July.
It's all part public realm concept design for Kings Square which Fremantle Council approved in February 2018.
A key component of this was retaining as many trees as possible, as well as planting more trees, to provide shade, colour and character to the area.
Approximately two-thirds of the trees in Kings Square have been retained, with the City of Fremantle planting two new trees for every one that had to be removed.
